No, that's not allowed!

In our house, cats are not allowed on the kitchen counter.

At least they weren't...

...until Emily came along...

...and started exercising her kitty mind control!!!

And after I took this photos, I unceremoniously dumped her on the kitchen floor.

  1. I've given up trying to explain to our dogs that they're not allowed on our sofas!

  3. You do realise that as soon as you go to bed that the cats are dancing on the counters blowing raspberries at you.

  4. I think it's an individual fetish. Some are "I'll use this counter" cats and some sail on by, tails up, "Unlike you, I have no use for counters." I currently have one of each.

  6. Obama didn't address cat lovers in his inaugural speech. What would he have said? "Republican cats need a new scratching post. Democratic cats share their food."

  8. Ours are allowed only on one small section. That's where their food is so the dog doesn't get it. There ARE limits to where the cats can go, but enforcing them is another matter.

Our cats aren't allowed on the counter either, but it is their contention that that rule only applies when we are standing in the room.

No cats on the counter here either. A rule enforced early and strongly. For the most part they stay off -- when I'm around. I guess the rules don't apply when they think I can't see them or when there is something there that HAS to be investigated.
